Web-Only! This cute little hosta is from the H. ventricosa breeding program of Dr. Herb Benedict. H. 'Stirfry' is the result of H. 'Holly's Honey' having sex with itself...a practice that was strongly promoted by a former surgeon general! The dark green leaves have a unique twist at the tip (possibly due to above mentioned activity). In late summer, the 3' wide clumps are topped with near-dark lavender bells on 3' scapes.
