Web-Only! From the garden of Nick Nickou comes this new dramatic hybrid between the Japanese painted fern (A. niponicum 'Pictum') x our native Southern lady fern (Athyrium filix-femina). The result is a splendid, stiffly upright, clump-forming fern. Each leaf has the muted colors of purple, silver, grey, and green suffused through the foliage, which is taller and more delicate than A. nipponicum. A.
