Open House/Web-Only! This new introduction from Holland is reportedly a mutation from one of our favorite hostas, H. 'Night before Christmas'. In appearance, it looks similar to "NBC", except that the clump is slightly smaller and the leaf edges are a darker green. The most important difference, however, is that the solid white center does not fade all growing season. H. 'Christmas Candy' is amazingly sun-tolerant as long as the soil is moist. At maturity, expect a 24" wide clump of bright creamy white leaves surrounded by a dark green border...very dramatic. In midsummer, the clumps are topped with light lavender H. 'Fortunei'-type flowers. Pot size: 3 qt. (2.83 L)
