If you think Geranium 'Rozanne' and G. 'Jolly Bee' are great, you'll love this purple-flowered form (RHS 80A). The name must be another example of male color-blindness. Netherlands nurseryman Marco van Noort found this mutation in his plants of G. 'Jolly Bee' and subsequently named it G. 'Pink Penny'. Just like its parent, G. 'Pink Penny' makes an 15" tall x 18" wide mound of white-patterned green foliage that is topped from June until frost with 2.5" wide purple flowers, each highlighted with dramatic dark veining. This is a tremendously exciting new introduction for everyone, but especially for those of us in the geranium-impaired southeastern US. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
